Steve Morgan, Regional Director for Europe for Mission to Seafarers visited the Falklands and in particular the Lighthouse Seafarers Mission to offer their support and backup for what we do. Although we are an independent Mission and operate independently it is always good to have connections and support in the UK and worldwide which is where The Mission to Seafarers is perfectly placed to offer.

During his visit with his wife Gemma they took in some of the scenery and wildlife, were hosted by Trustee’s of the Mission and the Port Chaplain, met with His Excellency the Governor at Government House, was interviewed on the radio and local TV and of course discussed how we could work together.

We hope to continue this relationship and develop it further in the future.
