As Port Chaplain together with the LSM Staff we are often called upon to conduct a variety of duties – This includes many services with 1982 Veterans
On the 1st November 2023.
Two Members of 9 Para Royal Engineers – Veterans of 1982 – Paul Moore and Charlie McColgan
Over 5 years they have conducted a ‘Ride of Respect ‘ travelling many thousands of miles around the UK….visiting and maintaining the graves of fallen comrades.
On 1st November 2023 they took a Ride of Respect around the Falkland Islands visiting comrades graves.
Returning to Stanley and joined by a motorcade of both motorcycles and vehicle culminating in a service – An Act of Remembrance and Thanksgiving to which very many Falkland Islanders attended.
As you can imagine what followed left a few hangovers the next day.
