The Merchant Navy Welfare Board (MNWB) Aware was presented to Debbie Lake at a reception for invited guests at Government House on Wednesday 22nd February.

The Deputy Governor David Morgan said a few words of introductions, then the Chair of Trustee’s Keith Biles added his thanks and congratulations to Debbie on this prestigous award which is the first time it has been presented to anyone outside the UK.

The Award itself was presented by Stuart Rivers, Chief Executive Officer of the MNWB who was in the Falklands on a week’s visit.
